Marija Peričić is a writer based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her first novel, The Lost Pages (Allen & Unwin), won The Australian/Vogel's Literary Award 2017 and was shortlisted for the 2017 Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction. She was named as a 2018 Sydney Morning Herald Best Young Australian Novelist. Her short fiction, essays, and poetry have appeared in Meanjin, The Big Issue Fiction Edition, and Southerly.

Her second novel Exquisite Corpse was published in 2023, by Ultimo Press.

Marija is currently completing a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne, and is at work on her third novel.
